Collection rates and positioning with RFID bin tagging
WIS manufactures RFID tags for the waste industry, fully customizable and delivered with a 5 year guarantee. So no matter if your collection setup is collection crew or side / fronting, our RFID tagging service can fit your requirements. Bins, carts and dumpsters can be fitted with either LF (Low Frequency) for low range reading or UHF (Ultra High Frequency) for far away reading. With our industry knowledge and experience the WIS system enables RFID tags to be fitted by a member of staff either on site or in the yard or sent to the customer in the post for applying – we made it that simple.
Scanning bins can be done automatically from the cab or manually by the collector. Scanning provides realtime information to the collector about the status of the scan and the status of the customer’s account, which dictates whether the bin should be emptied or not. All of WIS mobile applications for route management and bin scanning communicate with the WIS server in realtime over 3G, but also work efficiently in offline mode.
Realtime information to the office

WIS provides the possibility of all workers to be connected to the office in realtime, so work schedules, tasks, collection routes, live communication and GPS live position are all seamlessly possible in a cost efficient and device independent way. Unlike other solutions where hardware is hardwired into the truck or bulky expensive mobile terminals are required – WIS does away with all that and allows you to plan based on the way you need it to work and not cost a huge investment. Seamless flow of information to and from the office over 3G (and in offline mode) provides office staff the information they need to better handle customer issues.
Integrating Telephone into WIS
Scalable IP based PABX with an Automated Attendant. Every waste company in the world has an office phone line, with most likely a analogue or IP based expensive PABX on the end. With WIS you can port a line from the existing PABX or use WIS as your business PABX – to manage your business line. By using WIS you have the possibility to setup unlimited desk operators with PC client or SIP phone access. Management of all call flows, voice mail as well as all call reports is simple and seamless. The WIS PABX also comes with a full scale IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system so when you office closes customers can still call and speak to the automated attendant to hear information about their account or pay a bill.
Frontend Website Toolkit

Customer Mobile Messaging Alerts
Communicate with your OPT IN customers in realtime. WIS SMS Centre enables the sending of mobile messages to customers in realtime or scheduled. All of the configurations of the OPT OUT and setting are all controlled within the WIS. The SMS Centre works from the existing customer database but also has the possibility to create new external lists. List can be screened based on payment method, routes, service package, etc to give you full control over who receives the message. Messages can be setup to run with daily enquiries for collection routes and schedules. The can also be preconfigured for dumpster / skip collection notices to customers. The WIS system provides full customization of the SMS Centre so the power in your hands.
WIS purchase to real deployment
It’s always a headache when planning the migration to a new system – with WIS its different. There are no bulky hardware systems which need to installed, there are no complex software packages that need to install and there are complex process which need to be learned. The WIS server can be installed internally inside the office network DMZ or hosted in our fully managed cloud computing setup. Our cloud computing setup uses the latest SQL clustering and is fully managed daily by security professionals. The WIS is fully installed in less than 24 hours and office staff can start using it to administer setup configurations within the day. WIS will then operate as a dual system until all data has been migrated and validated. Migrating of the customer data is done in defined stages to ensure data security and validation of the information. During the migration of data stage full training and test run scenarios are provides to all the staff involved and additional backup guides and helpful videos are available inside the help section of WIS. Once all customer data has been validated and confirmed, the WIS will be start the process of deployment tests and then set a launch date to make it active.
